Altenergy's Staunton Branch completed this residential project for Nathan and Trina West in September 2017. While they already obtained a quote from another company, they heard of Altenergy through members of the Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative. Their 10.56kW solar photovoltaic system includes 32 Axitec 330W panels, 2 SMA 5.0 Inverters, and an IronRidge Aluminum Racking system. It produces 14,358kWh of power annually and offsets over 22,240 pounds of carbon dioxide per year. The West's are extremely satisfied with the job Altenergy did, saying "We highly recommend Altenergy! They listened to our requirements and expectations and provided us with a thorough, competitive plan for our installation. The entire team was knowledgeable, experienced, and informed on current technology, practices, and installation. All of the employees we interfaced with were responsive to our many questions and concerns. The quality of the work was superb and the installation team was efficient and got the entire system up and running in a timely manner. We love the idea that we are now making our own electricity and reducing our carbon footprint! Five stars for the great job Altenergy did on our installation!"
